The operation Hammock is intended to promote an economic activity in the region of Gaya in Bihar which is one of the poorest states of India.

The illustration shows young women in work in the premises of "Ecoles de la Terre". They are part for the most of the underprivileged housewives whose children are already schooled by the NGO.

HAMMOCK OPERATION

BePangea launches the operation HAMMOCK with the cooperation of the Swiss and Indian NGO "Ecoles de la Terre".

Operation consists of the manufacturing of hammocks for the Indian market and for the export.

It will supply a paid work to numerous persons according to the criteria of fair trade and a part of the realized gains will be used for the construction of schools.
